Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To surely detect the drawing-out status of a cast tube drawn out in the horizontal direction from a casting machine. CONSTITUTION: A dog 58 is hung and supported rotably around a supporting shaft 54 in the horizontal direction crossed orthogonally to the drawing direction of the tube 28. The dog 58 abuts on the end part of the tube 28 drawn to a prescribed position and pushed up while rotating. A link 70 is displaced with a cam 60 integrally rotated with the dog 58, and a limit switch 74 is operated with this link 70. The link 70 is displaced with the cam 60 till actuating the limit switch 74, and after actuating it, even if the dog 58 is further pushed up, the displacement of the link 70 is caused no more.
