TOILET BOWL COVER

PURPOSE: To prevent the interference of a cover with a toilet bowl and make the cover open smoothly, by providing a guide board for guiding the front edge of the toilet bowl on the inner side of the front edge face of a front half part, in the cover composed of the front half part and the rear half part. CONSTITUTION: A cover 15 is composed of a front half part 16 and a rear half part 17 which are hinge-attached with each other through a hinge 18, and a guide board 22 is formed inside the front edge face 21 of the front half part 16. The cover 15 is hinge-attached to the rear edge of an upper face of a toilet bowl body 12 as well as a seat 14 through a pivoted part 23 of the rear half part 17. The cover 15 is stood in such a manner that the front half part 16 and the rear half part 17 are folded when the front edge of the cover 15 is pushed backward in a closed conditioned of the cover 15 or a finger is hung and pulled on a hanging recessed part 19 through a guiding recessed part 20, and thereby the upper face opening part 13 of a toilet bowl 11 is released. Thus, the guide board 22 of the front edge face 21 of the front half part 16 of the cover 15 is slid on the front edge of the seat 14 and the front edge of the seat 14 is engaged with the front edge face of the cover 15, in an initial process of opening the cover 15, thereby incovenience of lifting up the seat 14 is eliminated.
