SEEDING PLANT

PURPOSE: To prevent a seedling box on a transfer conveyor from becoming a defective in trouble of a subsequent step in a seeding plant for continuously filling bed soil in each empty seedling box, sowing the filled bed soil with seeds, covering the seeds with soil and stacking the seedling box. CONSTITUTION: This seeding plant is constituted by arranging a stacking device 11 on a conveyor 6 for transferring each seedling box on the side of a former step of a box stacking device 12a, stopping the feed of the seedling box in stopping the operation on the side of the subsequent step, completing the operation of the seedling box 3 on the conveyor for transferring the box to the soil covering, stocking the seedling box in the stacking device 11 so as to preferentially convey the seedling box in the stacking device 11 in restarting the operation on the side of the subsequent step and feed each empty box from the seedling box feeder 1 according to the completion of the discharge of the seedling box housed in the stacking device 11 in the seeding plant equipped with the seedling box feeder 1, a bed soil feeder 7, an irrigator 8, a seeder 9, a soil covering device 10, the box stacking device 12a and the conveyor 6 for transferring the seedling box.
