ROTATING ELECTRIC MACHINE END MANUFACTURE THEREOF

PURPOSE: To easily insert a coil into a stator slot, make the contact pressure between the coil and a slot wall large, make a contact area between the coil and the slot wall large enough to prevent the peeling of the coil from the slot wall which is caused by the long-time operation, and sufficiently prevent a melting loss of an insulating layer. CONSTITUTION: When manufacturing a rotating electric machine which is provided with an iron core 6 having a coil slot 5 and a coil conductor 2 in the coil slot, with the coil conductor 2 and the iron core 6 being incorporated into one body by resin impregnation, anisotropic expanding material 7a mixed with a semiconductive fiber is inserted between the coil conductor 2 and a wall face of the coil slot 5 and then the anisotropic expanding material is heated and expanded and after that the anisotropic expanding material, the coil conductor, and the wall face of the coil slot are integrated into one body by resin impregnation.
