DATA COLLECTING DEVICE

PURPOSE: To provide a data collecting device which can sample and store the data in an extremely short cycle when a device is operated or stopped, or in abnormality. CONSTITUTION: A data collecting device 1 has a device main body 2 containing a CPU, a hard disk 4 connected to the main body 2, a CRT 3, etc. The main device 2 samples the data on a device in a cycle of 50 to 200sec via a process controller 9 and also outputs the sampling data equivalent to t1 (10 to 60sec)+t2 (5 to 10min) hours set before and after the time when the operation or stop of the device is recognized to the disk 4, etc. If the occurrence of the device abnormality is recognized, the main body 2 outputs the sampling data equivalent to t3 (5 to 10min)+t4 (10 to 60sec) hours set before and after the recognition of the abnormality to the disk 4, etc. The disk 4 stores these received data, and the CRT 3 displays the data stored in the disk 4, etc.
