Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To obtain a highly sensitive electrophotographic photoreceptor stable for repetitive use by using a photoconductive composition containing an organic pigment and a resin binder and a coating material little in flocculation and excellent in preservation stability. CONSTITUTION: This electrophotographic photoreceptor is formed by further incorporating a dispersing agent expressed by formula I, A.CO.BR, in the photoconductive composition containing the organic pigment and the resin binder. In formula I, A is a polyester group by the self-condensation of a hydroxy carboxylic acid expressed by formula II; HO-X-COOH (in formula II, X represents two aliphatic groups each having 8 carbon atoms and in which 4 carbon atoms are in existence between the hydroxyl group and the carboxyl group), B is a bivalent group having a formula III or formula IV; -O-R3 - (in formulae III and IV, R2 is hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, R3 is a 2-6C alkylene group) and bonded with a carbonyl group through oxygen atom or nitrogen atom and R is a primary, secondary or tertiary amino group or salt of amino group and an acid.
