Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To obtain at low cost a biodegradable filament having each specified heat resistance and mechanical strength. CONSTITUTION: This biodegradable filament consists of a copolymer of 85-100mol% of polybutylene succinate and polybutylene adipate or polybutylene sebacate, having a form of (1) monofilament >=4g/d in tensile tenacity and >=3g/d in knot tenacity, or (2) multifilament >=3g/d in tensile tenacity and >=30% in tensile elongation.
