Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To provide a garbage treatment apparatus easily arranged to an existing house without requiring large-scale construction, increased in the degree of freedom of an arranging place on an indoor side, capable of always well performing air exhaust and drainage to the outside and enabled in indoor use without being disturbed by a malodor. CONSTITUTION: A treatment tank 1 in which a treatment medium 2 is housed is arranged indoors and a discharge hose 6 is connected to the terminal of the discharge passage 35 provided to the bottom surface of the treatment tank 1. The other end of the discharge hose 6 is connected to the hose joint 7 provided to an indoor and outdoor boundary wall W from an indoor side at the position close to a floor surface F and the discharge hose 8 integrally connected to the hose joint 7 on an outdoor side is extended to the outside and the drained water and exhaust gas from the treatment tank 1 are discharged to the outside through the discharge hoses 6, 8.
