VACUUM CLEANER

PURPOSE: To provide a vacuum cleaner in which the number of connection wires between a main body part and a hand operating section is small and the power is easily adjustable. CONSTITUTION: A main control circuit is connected to a hand operating circuit 10a with two conductors A and B and the hand operating circuit is provided with a 'stop' switch K1 , a 'weak' switch K2 and a 'strong' switch K3 . When the 'weak' switch K2 is turned on, transistors Q2 and Q4 are turned on and a half wave of an alternating current is fed to the conductors A and B at a positive half cycle thereof in the conductor A. When the 'strong' switch K3 is turned on, the transistors Q2 and Q4 are turned on and a half wave of an alternating current is fed to the conductors A and B at a positive cycle thereof in the conductor B. In this manner, the size of ignition phase angle of current for motor driving is switched with the main control circuit depending on which of the half waves is fed to the conductors A and B.
