CONSTITUTION: This bed comprises movable backrest halves 30, 31 supported against armrest bodies 20, 21 in such a way that the halves 30, 31 can be displaced between a first position which in the bed mode extends along the armrest bodies 20, 21 and a second position which in the sofa mode is located inside the armrest bodies 20, 21 and overhangs diagonally to a front face that is roughly parallel to the longer side of a floor base 11.
