Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To obtain a small sized and easily operable video camera in which an object is automatically traced and which is quickly mounted/dismounted. CONSTITUTION: The equipment is provided with a main optical system 71 to form an optical image on an image pickup element 40 and a sub-optical system 72 to obtain an image on an infrared ray detection array element 41, and the distribution of the infrared ray amount formed on the infrared ray detection array element 41 on the array face is calculated to decide the arrival direction of an infrared ray by a signal processing circuit 50. Furthermore, a groove of nearly L-shape is provide to both side faces of a case.
