Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a method for producing a polyphenylene oxide-based molding material by which the molding material capable of providing a molding excellent in chemical resistance is obtained and a solvent such as a halogenated hydrocarbon is not used. CONSTITUTION:This method for producing a polyphenylene oxide-based molding material containing a polyphenylene oxide, a trialkeny isocyanurate and a peroxide with 10-80wt.% content of the polyphenylene oxide based on the total amount of the polyphenylene oxide and the trialkenyl isocyanurate comprises compatibilizing a mixture of the polyphenylene oxide with the trialkenyl isocyanurate in a single-phase region of the polyphenylene oxide and trialkenyl isocyanurate.
