Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To contrive the stabilization of flame in a pilot burner unit and the stabilization of the flame at the time of shifting of fire from the pilot burner unit to a main burner unit, in a premixing type gas burner. CONSTITUTION: In a premixing type gas burner having a constitution wherein premixture, obtained by mixing combustion air and fuel gas previously, is supplied to burn, main burner unit 1 is arranged in the vicinity of a pilot burner unit 2 while the pilot burner unit 2 is provided with a catalyst layer 3. On the other hand, a part in the vicinity of the pilot burner unit 2 in the main burner unit 1, is provided with another catalyst layer 3 in addition to the catalyst layer 3 of the pilot burner unit 2.
