MEMBRANE FIXING STRUCTURE OF LOW TEMPERATURE TANK

PURPOSE: To improve the strength and reliability of a membrane by fixing a pleated anchor to a tank main body through a base plate, and welding the pleat base parts of the membrane one side by one side to the folding parts of the top parts of the pleated anchor. CONSTITUTION: A pleated anchor 1 is formed in such a manner that folding parts of base parts of folding plates are mutually bonded on a base plate 2 by welding so that two folding plates formed in U-shaped by folding both ends of thin steel plates are faced in opposite directions. The pleated anchor 1 is attached to a concrete tank main body 9 through the base plate 2, and the base parts of the rib 4a of a membrane 4 are welded one side by one side to the folding parts of the top parts of the pleated anchor 1. Further, the membrane 4 is attached to the keep cool materials 6 of the concrete tank main body 9 through a bolt-like anchor 8 having a top plate 7 in the center of a flat plate part 4b so that the flat plate part 4b may not be deformed. Hereby, the pleated anchor 1 can support the membrane 4 and can improve the strength and reliability of the membrane 4 even though self-weight and a load in a surface outer direction by liquid pressure are applied to the membrane 4.
