WINDING DEVICE FOR SHEET MATERIAL

PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of displacement in a position during cutting of a sheet material and to reliably induce the tip of the winding start of the sheet material to a winding core. CONSTITUTION: A winding device for a sheet material is a device to wind a long belt-like sheet material 4, unwound from a raw material roll in a state to exert a proper tension thereon, around a rotationally driven winding core 6a and mould the long belt-like sheet material in a spiral state. The winding device for a sheet material comprises a shear cutter 11a arranged on a feed route for the sheet material 4 running to the winding core 6a and cut the sheet material; a first roller 13a arranged at a stage, followed by the sheet cutter 11a, with the sheet material 4 nipped therebetween and rotatable in the feed direction of the sheet material 4; a second roller 12a rotatable in the feed direction of the sheet material 4 and non-rotatable in a reverse direction; and a displacement drive mechanism 16a to change a distance between the first and second rollers 13a and 12a. By operating the displacement drive mechanism 16a when the sheet material 4 is cut by the shear cutter 1a, the sheet material 4 is nipped between the rollers 13a and 12a.
