THREAD END-PREPARING DEVICE FOR TEXTILE MACHINERY WHICH MANUFACTURES TWILL-WOUND BOBBIN

PURPOSE: To precisely prepare a yarn end without damaging the same, by arranging a cutter in the vicinity of the opening of a preparing nozzle, and providing an additional yarn loop forming unit to a yarn end preparation device. CONSTITUTION: A diagonally winding bobbin winder incorporates a splicing device 8 between a yarn tension device and a yarn monitor device, and a swivel nozzle 16 having a suck-up slit for a needle yarn 4'. The swivel nozzle 16 is pivotally provided so as to be pivotable around a rotary hinge so as to pull out the yarn 4' from a diagonally winding bobbin. The splicing nozzle 16 is composed of a splicing parallelepiped body 25 fixed to an air distributor block 42 by means of screws 43, and a preparation nozzle 38 located underneath the parallelepiped body 25 and obliquely arranged in the air distributor block 42. A rotary impeller 24 as a yarn loop forming unit is rotatably journalled underneath the parallelepiped body 25, and cutters 32, 36 are arranged in the vicinity of the preparation nozzle 38.
