COOLING STORAGE

PURPOSE: To obtain a cooling storage wherein the object to be stored can be easily placed and a change in the interior temperature thereof has no direct effect on the temperature of the object by providing a shielding member therein to cover the upper surface of a container stored therein. CONSTITUTION: The openings 2 and 3 for taking the object to be stored in and out are formed in the front and the rear face of a heat insulating box body 1 of a cooling storage. A pair of upper and lower front face doors 6 and a pair of upper and lower rear face doors 9 for covering the front face opening 2 and the rear face opening 3 respectively are mounted to the heat insulating box body 1 by a hinge mechanism in a freely opening and closing manner, thereby making up the structure of a pass- through type refrigerator. The shelves T for holding containers 11 are mounted in the heat insulating box body 1, an air blower 16 sucks the air near the center of the ceiling of the heat insulating case body 1 and sends it to an evaporator 17 and the air cooled thereby is discharged downwards. When the container 11 is placed on the shelf T, its open top is covered with a holding plate 31 of the shelf T above. The gaps between the lower surface of the holding plate 31 and the top edge of the container 11 are covered in the lateral direction with a pair of right and left vertically hanging plates 33 and in the longitudinal direction with a pair of seal plates 35.
