CRUSHING AND VOLUME REDUCING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To facilitate the cutter mounting/demounting work and improve the maintenance performance of a crusher, by holding a cutter unit on a box-shaped cutter base arranged below a hopper body. CONSTITUTION:A main spindle 25 on which cutters 24 and 26 are installed and a driven shaft constitute a cutter unit 22 whose both ends are axially supported by a peir of side plates 32 and 33, and can be demounted as unit from a cutter base 21, and disassembly work is facilitated. Further, after the cutter units 24 and 26 are polished, the unit 22 is assembled by utilizing the side plates 32 and 33, and incorporated to the cutter base 21 of the body, and since the adjustment of the gap between the cutters 24 and 26 can be carried out in the assembled state to the unit, the workability can be improved. Accordingly, the cutter is formed to a unit, and incorporated in a unit state into a crusher body, and since disassembly is facilitated, the maintenance performance is improved drastically.
