Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To provide a platform safety monitor control system capable of enhancing safety via the reduction of a burden on the station staff, and reducing cost. CONSTITUTION: This system is formed out of a platform track circuit 40 to generate a platform ingress signal 40a as well as a platform track exit signal 40b, a train sensor 30 to generate a train sensing signal 30a and a passenger sensor 20 to generate an obstacle sensing signal 20a upon the detection of an obstacle entering a dangerous zone extremely near a vehicle. Furthermore, the system has a safety monitor control means 50 for performing sensor operation control to keep the sensors 30 and 20 in such a state as sensitive or non- sensitive, and diagnosing the sensors 30 and 20.
