Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: To ignite both squibs securely even when an unbalance in DC resistance is present between a driver's seat squib and a front passenger seat squib. CONSTITUTION: First and second backup capacitors 13a (14a) connected in series through transistors 13f (14f) at collision and a doubler circuit for driver's seat 13 and a doubler circuit for front passenger seat 14 constituted with 13b (14b) are connected in parallel with an on-vehicle battery 11. Also this device is provided with a balance circuit in which the emitter of the driver's seat (front passenger seat) transistor is connected to the base of the front passenger seat (operator seat) transistor through a balance resistor 16 (17). When a current passing through one of the doubler circuits varies due to unbalance in DC resistance of two squibs, a current passing through the other doubler circuit can be compensated by the function of the balance circuit. |
