DEVICE FOR UNPACKING PACK IN FILM

PURPOSE:To enable opening a pack and removing the film without allowing such a packed material as an empty casing to fall off an inner sheet and without damaging other packing materials by providing a particular suction groove in the underside of a presser, a hot-wire knife attached to this underside, and a means which moves a gripper for the lower part beyond the end edge of the packed object. CONSTITUTION:To unpack a pack in shrunken film, suction is applied to the shrunken film 5 at the top side of the pack along a suction groove extending substantially to the full breadth at the front side and almost reaching the back side formed in the underside of a presser 6 and by putting a hot-wire knife in contact with the shrunken film 5 at the part under suction the shrunken film 5 at the top side of the pack is cut. Next a lower-part gripper 7 holds the lower end of the shrunken film 5 in a manner of clamping and by raising a cutting unit 17 the shrunken film 5 is cut vertically. Following completion of cutting of the shrunken film 5, swinging arms 11a, 11b open up the pack at the cut part of the shrunken film 5 and simultaneously the lower-part gripper 7 releases the lower end of the shrunken film 5 which the dislocated lower-part gripper 7 has been holding.
