Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To provide a safe and easy-to-operate laser beam machine which is capable of greatly expanding the adjustable range of an incident angle while miniaturizing a damper and also enables a three-dimensional scanning operation or a continuous operation. CONSTITUTION: This machine is structured such that a laser machining nozzle 10 and a damper 30 are connected so that the reflected laser beam Bo may be received by a photodetector surface 31 and a specified relative positional relation may be maintained, even in the case where an incident angle θi of a laser beam Bi on the machining surface 1 varies within a prescribed range, and that the damper 30 can be forcedly cooled by the use of a cooling fluid.
