Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To efficiently achieve the gas cutting of a ultra heavy slab by optimumly combining the warm cutting with the cutting speed to prevent the end cracking of the cut part of the ultra heavy slab in achieving the gas cutting of the ultra heavy high tensile steel slab. CONSTITUTION: Cutting is achieved so that the maximum hardness after the cutting may be HV=0.40% and the thickness of >=100mm, where the carbon equivalent is expressed by the following inequality: Ceq>=C+Si/24+ Mn/6+Ni/40+Cr/5+Mo/4+V/14(%). The carbon equivalent of the ultra heavy steel to be used is >=0.40% which is required to secure the tensile strength of >=460N/mm with the thickness of >=100mm.
