Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To provide a stiff cabin and to absorb the forces well which occur in the case of a head-on collision and introduce the forces in a large surface manner from a longitudinal front beam to an adjoining upper structure. CONSTITUTION: Both lower longitudinal front beams 5 are extended and connected to a dash panel 3 to transmit forces to the dash panel 3 and a first cross beam, and a second cross beam 38 is arranged at the height of the first cross beam on the face of the dash panel facing a cabin. The second cross beam is connected to a pan reinforcing member 39 in the center area of its transverse course and widens in its laterally exterior areas downward in the vertical direction, and it is divided into two separate hollow beam segments 41, 42. The upper hollow beam segment is connected to the dash panel 3, a wheel house panel 4 and a hinge column 28, and the lower hollow beam segment is connected to the dash panel 3, a door sill 29 and a floor 17.
