CASING FOR ELECTRONIC APPARATUS

PURPOSE: To reduce production cost by simplifying assembly processes and decreasing assembling parts of an electronic apparatus by providing a plurality of corresponding butting posts for upper and lower cases, mutually fixing the posts and fixing a printed circuit board between the upper and lower cases simultaneously with the case assembly. CONSTITUTION: Upper and lower half portions 10 and 12 of a case are assembled with a printed circuit board 14. The upper and lower half portions 10 and 12 of the case respectively have four attaching posts 26a to 26d and 28a to 28d, the posts 26a corresponds to the posts 28a, the post 26b corresponds to the post 28b, the post 26c corresponds to the post 28c, and the post 26d corresponds to the post 28d. At the time of casing assembly, the posts corresponding to each other push the printed circuit board between the upper and lower half portions 10 and 12 of the case and are fixed, and respective corresponding posts are mutually fixed with screws. When fixing the two half portions of the case, a front panel 18 and a mounting plate 24 are also sandwiched between the half portions and then fixed.
