CUTTING UNIT FOR UNPACKING OF STRETCH-PACKAGE

PURPOSE: To surely heat seal films laid in a plurality of layers by a method wherein heaters for applying heat sealing to films are incorporated in two rollers, and the surface of each of the heaters is covered at its several positions with intervals provided with heat-resistant plastic tapes. CONSTITUTION: A film 5, wound spirally round a stretch-package is cut vertically on one side of the package. On parts where the film 5 is wound in several windings on both sides of the cutting line, sealing is made incompletely even though heating is made through parts covered with heat-resistant plastic tapes on clamping rollers 3a and 3b, while satisfactory sealing can be made if uncovered parts are brought into contact. On the other hand, on parts where the film 5 is wound in a small number of windings, overheating is made with breakage occurred on heating with uncovered parts, while satisfactory sealing can be made if heating is made with the covered parts. Generally speaking, nonsticking film in a plurality of layers can be stuck certainly by heat sealing even though discontinuity exists.
