Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To efficiently separate fine inclusions in molten steel in a tundish by using the tundish constituted so that the molten steel from a ladle nozzle is introduced into a molten steel pouring chamber through a molten steel receiving chamber, charging many falls made of refractory into the molten steel receiving chamber and continuously casting the molten steel. CONSTITUTION: The molten steel 2 in a ladle 1 is poured into the molten steel receiving chamber 8 in the tundish 3 from the nozzle 5, and brought into contact with the balls 10 made of refractory moved with falling flow. At this time, the fine inclusions in the molten steel 2 are absorbed into the balls 10 and separated from the molten steel. In this result, the molten steel 2 is cleaned and continuously supplied into a mold 11 from a molten steel passing hole 6 of a partition wall 7 through nozzle 3a of the molten steel pouring chamber 9. On the molten steel surface in the mold, lubricating powder 15 is supplied also. The molten steel 2 supplied in the mold is cooled with this mold and the solidified shell 14s is produced and supported in the vertical-curving- horizontal state by many supporting rolls 13 and continuously drawn out as the cast slab 14.
