Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide an air bag for automobile made of accumulated chemical fibers which does not cause thread trailing phenomenon and welds layers securely by using a press machine provided with a punch for punching holes in the shape of heated inner blade when holes are punched in the air bag. CONSTITUTION:By using a press main body 5 provided with punches 6, 7 for punching holes in the shape of inner blade, a pressing guide 2 which presses floating of worked cloths 8, 9 made of chemical fibers below the press main body 5, and a press machine composed of a press lower plate 1 for ensuring pressurization force on the worked cloth 8, the punches 6, 7 for punching holes are heated to temperature above melting point temperature of the worked cloth 8 to punch holes, and layers of the cloths 8, 9 are welded to prevent the cloths 8, 9 from being frayed. After holes are punched, pneumatic pressure from a tank 27 is introduced on blade tips of the punches 6, 7 to cool the blade tips, prevent thread trailing phenomenon, and discharge leavings after punching holes from the punches 6, 7 by the pneumatic pressure.
