Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To detect the omnidirectional defect and the fillet in an effective magnetic field range, to reduce in size and to provide the excellent operability. CONSTITUTION: A bipolar magnetic powder flaw detection magnetizing apparatus is manufactured by laminating thin plates 1 of H-shaped silicon steel plates, then winding a coil 3 of magnetizing means having a first magnetic flux direction in its longitudinal direction of the plate 1, and then winding a coil 2 of magnetizing means having a second magnetic flux direction in the lateral direction of the plate 1. The effective magnetic field range of the apparatus is 190mm of a distance between poles 1a and 1b having 30mm of the width and 30mm of the length, and 100mm in the width direction of the pole at one side.
