SEGMENT FEEDING DEVICE

PURPOSE: To eliminate the difference in level between a segment carrying-in device on an assembled segment and a movable receiving base supported on a shield body side, and smoothly move a segment. CONSTITUTION: A tilting ladder 8b having a traveling wheel 17 traveling on a segment S inner surface is connected to the segment carrying-in conveyor device 6 side of a movable receiving base 7 movably supported on a working table frame 4 in such a manner as to be capable of vertically tilting. The movable receiving base 7 and the tilting ladder 8b have a segment receiving roller 18 for supporting a segment S in such a manner as to be movable in the axial center on direction. This device also has a segment transferring device 9 for pushing the segment S from the segment carrying-in conveyor device 6 onto the movable receiving base 7 through the tilting ladder 8b. The traveling wheel follows the segment, whereby the tilting ladder is inclined to form an inclined carrying surface for continuing the segment carrying-in device to the carrying surface of the movable receiving base.
