Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To prevent a discoloring on the surface of a stainless steel by washing the stainless steel using a washing agent containing a chlorinated isocyanurate added with a poly-α-hydroxy acrylic acid. CONSTITUTION: The surface of a stainless steel is washed by using the detergent containing a chlorinated isocyanurate and added with a desired additive. At that time, a poly-α-hydroxy acrylic acid or its salt, or a polylactone thereof is allowed to present in a washing system. The concn. of the poly-α-hydroxy acrylic acid, etc., is within a range of 100-5000mg/l and its average mol.wt. is pref. 5000-500000. The chlorinated isocyanurate and the poly-α-hydroxy acrylic acid, etc., are mixed previously and are used preferably in a solid state, At that time, the compounding ratio of them is pref. about 100:(0.5-100) pts.wt.
