Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To obtain a cell degeneration suppressing and organ toxicity reducing agent containing a inhibitory substance to serectin of an adhesion molecule on the surface of neutrophiles as a major ingredient. CONSTITUTION: This cell degenerating suppressing and organ toxicity reducing agent comprises containing a serectin inhibitory substance as a major ingredient consisting of one kind or a mixed composition of a sulfoglycolipid derived from an organism (e.g. a sulfatide of formula I and a seminolipid of formula II), a fucosylated glicolipid (e.g. sialyl lewis X or sialyl lewis A) and a synthetic- type sulfurated polysaccharide (e.g. chondroitin surface of heparitin surface). This medicine is used for (a) administering a highly toxic medicine for a long period, (b) suppressing a nephropathy due to a nephrotoxic substance, (c) suppressing a hepatopathy due to a hepatotoxic substance, (d) suppressing a neuropathy due to a cerebral nervotoxic substance and (e) suppressing an organopathy caused by a microorganism. This medicine is preferably used as an effect activating composition prepared so as to contain 0.005-50wt.% effect activating and stabilizing carrier against 0.005-5wt.% serectin inhibitory substance.
