FIRE ALARM EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE: To simplify the detection of a doubly imparted address by judging the same address to have been imparted to plural terminal equipments when the terminal equipment responds to a prescribed signal and a receiving part receives plural answer signals. CONSTITUTION: The command GAD(1).CM3 of breaking-of-wire discrimination polling is sent in P6, and the terminal equipment belonging to a group G1 returns a pulse to the receiver by its answer slot in response to this. Since the receiver receives the pulse in all the slots SL0 to SL3, the receiver can confirm that no breaking of wire is not caused among all the terminal equipments belonging to the group G1. However, since two pulses are received in one slot SL2 of P6, the receiver comes to receive the answer pulses respectively from two terminal equipments different from each other. Namely, it means that the same address is imparted to two terminal equipments, and a fire receiver recognizes this.
