Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To obtain an electrical rotary driver for the functional parts of a machine excellent in controllability and measurement accuracy, a method for determining a supporting position and a printing machine employing it by providing an angular position detector for detecting the angular momentum of the rotor of a motor and the functional parts, a signal processing module and an output amplifier. CONSTITUTION: A rotary offset printing machine comprises four functional parts (plate cylinders or blanket cylinders) D1, D2, D3, D4 mounted rotatably on the position fixing wall face of the offset machine through a bearing 40. Each blanket cylinder is provided with a motor FG comprising a rotor F and a stator G for rotation thereof. The shaft journal 41 of the rotor F is coupled directly with the shaft journal 42 of the cylinder D1-D4. More specifically, both shaft journals 41, 42 are integrated structurally to fit tightly each other thus forming drive coupling exhibiting strong resistance against torsion just like an integral steel shaft.
