Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To introduce liquid component such as oil staying in a surge tank to an exhaust gas recirculating passage, so as to process it by communicating the exhaust gas recirculating passage connected to an exhaust passage of an internal combustion engine with the lowermost position of the surge tank in which an intake branch pipe is projectingly provided. CONSTITUTION: Intake air negative pressure generated in a surge tank 32 is introduced to an exhaust gas recirculating passage 38, thereby exhaust gas passing through an exhaust pipe 40 is sucked to the surface tank 32 through the exhaust gas recirculating passage 38. Since the temperature of the exhaust gas recirculating passage 38 rises as approaching the exhaust pipe from the vicinity of the surge tank, liquid component such as oil allowed to flow into the exhaust gas recirculating passage 38 is gradually burnt. An exhaust gas recirculating valve 42 is incorporated in the exhaust gas recirculating passage 38, and a VSV(vacuum switching valve) 44 for selectively supplying intake air negative pressure of the intake pipe 34 or atmospheric pressure to a voltage transferring chamber 42c is communicated with the exhaust gas recirculating valve 42. The suitable amount of exhaust gas can be recirculated by switching the exhaust gas recirculating valve 42 by the VSV 44.
