FORMATION OF EMBROIDERY DATA OF APPLIQUE

PURPOSE: To unnecessitate operations such as an operation for picking up a cloth piece on a digitalizer, easily and efficiently form embroidery data of the applique, and eliminate the deviation of the embroidery data from cutting data to prevent the defects of the applique by utilizing the existing cutting data of an already formed cloth piece for an applique. CONSTITUTION: The embroidery data for embroidering a cloth piece for the applique on a cloth is formed on the basis of existing cutting data D2 for cutting a cloth piece for an applique from a cloth. The embroidery data comprise temporary sewing data D3 for determining a position required for disposing the cloth piece for the applique on the cloth, fixing and sewing data D5 for fixing and sewing the cloth piece for the applique to the cloth, and satin stitch data D7 required for embroidering the cloth piece for the applique on the cloth.
