Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a lactobacillus growth promoter containing Euglena cell, etc., as an active ingredient, capable of inexpensively obtaining in a large amount and useful for producing cheese, yoghurt, etc. CONSTITUTION:This lactobacillus growth promoter contains Euglena cell of Euglena gracilis and/or Euglena cell-extracted material etc., as an active ingredient. Furthermore, this promoter is preferably added in an amount of 0.5-5wt.% to a culture medium used for culture of lactobacillus or cultured mixture of lactobacillus.
