Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of an exhaust gas purifier which can improve purification efficiency of NOx reduction catalyst without incurring the increase of the number of parts. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust gas purifier is provided with a NOx reduction catalyst 19 which is provided in an exhaust passage ER of a diesel engine 9 and dissolves NOx and an accumulator type fuel injection means which consists of a unit injector 23, an accumulation chamber 25, and a supply pump 28 for jetting fuel into a combustion chamber 13 of the diesel engine 9. It also has an injector ECU 30 as a control means which jets fuel as reduction agent of the NOx reduction catalyst 19 from the accumulator type fuel injection means in the vicinity of bottom dead center in exhaust process of the diesel engine 9.
