Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide a crawler core having a wear-resistance and a shock- resistance, and a remarkably long service life. CONSTITUTION:In a crawler core adapted to be embedded in a resilient member, having a contact surface 2 making contact with a chain pulley, on the upper surface of the center part thereof, protrusions 3 adapted to be engaged with teeth of the chain pulley, on the left and right sides of the contact surface 2, and relatively thin planar parts 4 outside of the protrusion, the base structures of at least the contact surface 2 and the protrusions 3 are blending structures of bainite and retained austenite.
