PACKET COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To flexibly facilitate a countermeasure also to the increase of future communicating amounts by connecting subscriber's terminals through host networks, and selecting the host network to be connected according to the load situation of each host network. CONSTITUTION:At the time of communicating from a subscriber's terminal 5a housed in a subscriber's circuit network 1a to an another subscriber's terminal 5g housed in a subscriber's circuit network 1c, a connecting request is issued from the terminal 5a to the destination terminal 5g. This connecting request is transmitted to a circuit network managing node 3a, and transferred to host circuit networks 2a-2c because the destination of the connecting request is absent in the circuit network 1a. Then, the load situations of the circuit networks 2a-2c are communicated from managing CPU 4a-4c which manage the circuit networks 2a-2c to circuit network managing nodes 3a-3c. Then, the connecting request is transmitted from the managing CPU 4b through the circuit network managing node 3c to the terminal 5g. Thus, after setting a virtual channel for communication, it is possible to transfer information at a high speed by using the channel.
