Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To reduce the cost for power source lead-in wiring and establish a centralized supervisory system. CONSTITUTION:Pair type optical fibers 2' are laid over a place to detect landslide from the near ends, and mutually connected in the far ends to return a light. The light of a light source 3 is made incident on the near end of one optical fiber, the intensity of the light propagated to the near end of the other optical fiber is detected by a light detector 4. The operating power is supplied from a common power source part 7 to the light source 3 and the light detector 4. The optical fiber 2 may be laid around from the near end so that at least a going-out passage 2e or a returning passage 2f passes the place to detect landslide. A terminal device 8 for data communication is set near the electronic and optical unit 10 of each sensor 1, and housed in a communication line 12 to transmit the landslide detection data of each sensor to a center device 20, so that the centralized supervision in a center can be performed.
