Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To manufacture sintered ores with high productivity by providing compensation for the shortage of heating values and particle segregation effective to breathability during sintering time to a raw material filled layer. CONSTITUTION:A sintering raw material 2 stored in a hopper is fed out to a slope shoot 4 from a drum feeder and charged into a pallet 6 by way of a rotor 10 which provides a hole 13 which shows a classifying action. The sintering raw material 2 drops in areas ranging from 1 to 2 in comformity with its particle sizes and undergoes the classifying action produced by a rolling motion acting along the slope surface of the raw material filled layer 7. It is also possible to control the segregation strength of the raw material filled layer 7 in the transverse direction by changing the distribution of the hole 13 along the axial direction of the rotor 10. This construction makes it possible to provide a large particle segregation strength to the raw material filled layer 7 and speed up sintering reaction speed and manufacture stabilized quality sintered ores at high yields as well.
