Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a raw stock insertion apparatus for card capable of safely performing the picking work to insert the tip end of raw stock to a feed roller. CONSTITUTION:A raw stock insertion member 20 having a tip end 21 corresponding to the raw stock feeding port formed between a feed roller 8 and a dish plate 10 is moved from the waiting position A to the insertion position by an air cylinder 26, the tip end of raw stock placed in front of the feed roller is held between the tip end part 21 and the dish plate 10 and inserted into a feeding port 11. After the above operation, a continuous raw stock is introduced into a taker-in roller 3 by the rotating feed roller 8. The raw stock insertion member 20 is returned to the original waiting position A by the action of the air cylinder 26.
