Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To facilitate glove box closing operation and make a glove box look attractive by forming an integrated gap between the glove box and an instrument panel in closing the box. CONSTITUTION:In closing a glove box, the first slidably abutting sections provided in the ends on both sides of the lid of the glove box is made to abut and slide on both side walls of the box containing opening section of an instrument panel body. In closing the box, a gap S2 is formed between the second slidably abutting section 37 provided on the side of the bearing 33 of a hinge 35 and a pair of restricting pieces 31 provided on both sides of a bearing engaging portion (engaging hole 29) of the side of the shaft 27 of the hinge 35. In opening the box, the second slidably abutting section 37 is made to slidably abut on both restricting pieces 31.
