Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide an image receiving sheet for thermal transfer recording, using a thermally sublimable dye, which especially gives high recording density and is almost free from a blocking phenomenon. CONSTITUTION:This image receiving sheet for thermal transfer recording is prepared by applying a water based composition containing a water based compound (A) with staining properties to a sublimable dye and a self- emulsifiable urethane acrylate emulsion (B) and irradiating the coat with an active energy beam to create an image receiving layer.
