DIELECTRIC RESONATOR

PURPOSE:To provide different stray capacities depending on the parts of a dielectric block without increasing the labor and cost of manufacture by coexisting the plural kinds of dielectric materials whose dielectric constants are different and forming the dielectric block. CONSTITUTION:Three dielectric materials A-C whose dielectric constants are different coexist from the side of one end face 2a of the dielectric block 2 to the side of the other end face 2b. In this case, the stray capacities obtained in the respective parts of the dielectric materials A-C are different. Then, when the materials with the higher dielectric constant are used in the order of A-C. The obtained stray capacity is relatively high on the side of the end face 2a of the dielectric block 2, approximately in a middle level in an intermediate part and relatively low on the side of the other end face 2b. Thus, the stray capacity obtained in the part formed by the dielectric material whose dielectric constant is relatively high becomes larger than the one obtained in the part formed by the dielectric material whose dielectric constant is low and the different stray capacities can be obtained depending on the parts of the dielectric block 2.
