THREAD SENDING DEVICE FOR OPTICAL DISK PLAYER

PURPOSE:To quantitatively grasp the amount of a thread movement even at the time of high-speed retrieving by correcting the number of pulses for a thread position detecting signal in the radial direction of an optical disk gained by a pickup with a pulse counter and thereby controlling the driving of a motor. CONSTITUTION:Retrieving is carried out while comparing the amount of the track movement of a pickup 4 and that of a thread 7, the track position detecting signal of a disk surface 9A is detected when it is reached by the pickup 4, the detecting signal is inputted to a correction part 15 and the number of pulses counted by the photointerruptor 11 of a pulse counter 13 is inputted to the correction part 15 as the number of motor rotations. At the correction part 15, both input disks are compared, a control signal corrected by the pulse number and the high-speed driving of a DC motor is controlled by a control part 16. Thus, even at at lead screw system, retrieving and jumping are made possible.
