CONSTITUTION:An ACC processing part 1c executes edge emphasizing processing based upon the states of adjacent picture elements in a subscanning direction. An 8-16 conversion part 1e estimates two picture elements based upon signal levels corresponding to respective picture elements in a signal edge- emphasized by the ACC processing part 1c while referring to the states of adjacent picture elements in a main scanning direction and generates a false accurate signal with twice of picture element density. |
