Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To give a margin to magnetic recording capacity and to prevent a customer identification(ID) number from being altered by providing this transaction card with a magnetic recording part on which transaction data are recorded and a bar code part on which a bar code expressing a customer ID code is printed. CONSTITUTION:Each transaction card 10 is provided with a magnetic recording part 10a on which prescribed transaction data are recorded and a bar code part 10b on which a bar code expressing a customer ID code is printed. In a customer managing device using the card 10a, a customer managing part executes prescribed customer management based upon the customer ID code read out from the bar code part 10b by a bar code reader and the prescribed transaction data read out from the magnetic recording part 10a by a card reader/writer. Consequently the record of the customer ID code can be excluded from the magnetic recording part 10a. In addition, the alteration of the bar code can be easily and visually detected.
