DESIGN INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To effectively utilize an electronic computer by detecting and extracting a design file having problems such as many times of occurrence of detects in the logical simulation at an early stage. CONSTITUTION:The design information management system in which a design file storing design information is processed by a design aid program working on an electronic computer, a defect of the design file is picked up and the design file is managed is provided with a design file 100, a history information file 101, a design management information file 102, a design aid program 103, a design management information table 104 and a comparison discrimination processing section 105 or the like, and also with a means comparing a budget of design management information generated at the start of design with a result of design management information obtained as the design is being progressed and inhibiting the processing of the design aid program with respect to the design file based on the comparison result, and with a means releasing the processing of the inhibited design aid program by a special manager only.
